Counselling
Counselling may help you to uncover traumas that may or may not unconsciously trigger certain behaviours. Once you understand yourself, and how you operate, we can help to empower you with the skills to make the life changes that you desire.
Counselling is also a safe space to talk about life issues, a place for you to be heard.
Counselling is beneficial at a time of making big life decisions, by having someone in your corner that is a neutral listener that can help support clear decision making. The aim for all of our JOY clients is to help them build their connection to themselves and give clients the problem solving life skills so they can sort through their own problems with confidence.
JOY Health provides counselling in a safe and confidential space where life events can be unpacked and processed in a healthy way.
Often, we are afraid to face our own short comings and behaviours that we judge ourselves harshly for. With assistance you will be able to face the realities of your human form, you can move past the fear of who you are and decide on whom you want to be, and if there are changes you would like to implement for the life you want to create.
Quite often, we can become trapped in a cycle of living life in survival mode, or fight-or-flight due to trauma, grief, anxiety, and shock. This can lead to feeling unmotivated, alone, angry, shame, guilty, isolated or stuck in life.
Counselling is a powerful tool that can be useful for moving past these blocks.
